Hi all, I'm George from Montgomery Texas. I've been a motorcycle owner/rider for about 54 years and it's never gotten old. Started with a 72 Honda SL 125 that I rode daily to work for
two years, rain or shine. Bought a brand-new KZ 1000 LTD in 78 and rode the wheels off of it with a couple buddy's that had KZ's as well. There has always been at least one motorcycle of some kind in my garage at any given time. Bought a 78 KZ 1000 LTD B2 off of ebay from a seller in Milwaukee Wisconsin about 4 years ago and got very lucky, when I had it shipped to me it ended up being better than described in the add.
I retired 3 years ago and the first thing I purchased was a motorcycle lift. I did a nut and bolt complete resto on a 75 Honda XL 350. Took about a year to complete and I have no intention of ever selling it. I will be starting a full resto on the LTD starting in 2024. I've done a lot of work already because I wanted to put some miles on it before the tear down. 45 year old rubber, cables, brakes, tires and so on are not safe for the open road.
Another hobby of mine is restoring/collecting Winchester 1894 Lever Action Rifles. Most are pre WW2 and the earliest that I have are a 1907 30WCF 26" and a 1912 32 Win Spec. 26". It's pretty cool to own and operate an American made product that operates as intended after 116 years.
