Hi all,
I picked up my 1978 kz400 about 4-5 months ago and this forum has answered many of my questions. As we enter winter what should be my main maintenance areas? Currently my bike is running good as far as I know. It was a barn find with 5k miles. I did the basic stuff of replacing tires, oil, filters, points. Also I found a pair of headers on ebay, I purchased 18” shorty mufflers that are baffled. I don’t have any back fires or decel pops, the bike seems to be running alright…. Should I worry about melting or warping things over extended use? (Stock Jett’s)
