Kansas City area - old Kawy fan here

Long time Kawasaki fan here. My first was a 1979 KZ650, in black with the green/yellow pinstriping, that came to a tragic ending. Someday I'll tell that story here maybe (and explain why I have never had another UNinsured motorcycle since I was in my late teens!) Had a 750 Spectre when my kids were young but didn't get to ride much then so I sold it. Now that I've recently had a birthday (in a multiple of ten) I figured it was time again. So I'm soon to take delivery on something I've always wanted - if all goes well. I'm sure I'll be sharing my experience and asking for all sorts of advice before too long.

I appreciate what I've seen of the forum so far and I think it's a great source of camaraderie and good advice!
