New to forum, been around motorcycles for most of my life. Recently acquired a 1978 KZ650 B2, I believe. I plan to to a thorough rebuild, but not a perfectly original restoration. I look forward learning and exchanging with others.

I'd like to extend a hearty welcome to Monkeybutt from the great SW of AZ. I've got a few KZ650 frames and engines. Have you looked at KZ650.info. It might have been 650.info. It was chocked full of KZ650 stuff.
I don't have a plan and I'm sticken' to it! '77 KZ 650 / 750 GPz custom project in progress
