'82 GPz1100 Resto was created by Xicor37
Hi,

I just got done doing a full resto on an '82 GPz1100. Here's a couple before and after pics. Everything that could be blasted and powder coated was, including the frame.
I have a whole heap more pics of the whole process if there's interest.

Everything that had any damage was replaced with OEM NOS if available or quality aftermarket if not. Ever bearing, every seal, every piece of rubber was replaced.
Engine is a fresh build with '83 cams, VM29 smoothbores, and the Kerker system. Ignition is Dyna 2000. Progressive springs in the forks, Bitubo rear shocks. 530 chain conversion. 280mm front EBC rotors. Carbs actually have pod filters. Entire rear of the airbox was cut open, I just wanted the side panel for looks. Have both the ELR seat and the original seat.
Still trying to locate a non-cut chain guard and a rear grab handle.

Great job! Is that a new Kerker exhaust or an older one?

    Very cool bike, WOW!

Was anything changed inside the motor besides adding the 83 cams?
