New KZ1000 owner

Just picked up an 82 KZ1000 last week.  Here is a pic of it the night I got it.  Need to clean the carbs and detail it up a bit - Stock exhaust has a hole - I'm thinking Kerker - what does everyone else think? I will post better pics soon - I sure wish winter wasn't sneaking up on us here in New England...

Welcome aboard.

Kerker is certainly the classic choice, though it will be expensive, and I have seen complaints about sagging quality control in recent years. Some members here have installed Delkevic systems and seem to be happy with them.  www.ebaystores.com/delkevic-us09/1000-cc...-EBAY-API-R1-V3=R1V3

Is the hole in the stock system repairable? Even if you decide not to keep it, you might be surprised what some folks will pay for a solid factory system.
