Hi from Sweden
13 Apr 2021 05:28
I am new here and write from Sweden.
Yesterday I bought back my old Gpz 1100 A1 which I sold 30 years ago.
It has been in a barn for the past 21 years. It is in a miserable state now.
Gonna do a project thread when I get a room in my garage.
My plan is to do a total rebuild with some custom touchers.

I hope to succeed in posting the pictures.
It looks great when rinsed.
I know the ground is muddy but I have built a new garage and ground work is not finished.

Reuniting with, and making a renewal project of a fondly remembered old bike, after many years apart, must be deeply satisfying & exciting. Sorta like (the fantasy of) reuniting with a past lover after being parted for years. Sorta.
Thing is... (there's always a thing)
An old bike can be a fun & satisfying project. Past lovers, not so much; they usually aren't particularly good projects. They're they're cantankerous by nature, usually haven't aged well at all, and are very difficult to modify.
Welcome to our little interwebs corner of motorcycle madness. Looks like it's gonna be a nice bike!
