Hello all!
My first Kawasaki was a brand new AR50, my dad bought for me in December 1981... FREEDOM!
That little "Kwak" was the first "thing" I recall really loving! (Second was my 1974 Ford Escort 1.3L)
Been ridin' ever since!
Had many bikes in my history, but never a GPz550 (that was my schoolboy dream bike!)
I recently acquired one with 34000 miles on the clock, in original condition, bar the aftermarket 4-into-1 exhaust (Cowley)
It has a noticeable cam-chain noise (clatter) above 5000 rpm, so, on order is a Krieger tensioner and new guides.
Looking forward to many hours of enjoyment, both on the road and in my workshop!
