Hello! Im new!
24 Jun 2020 17:05
Hi everyone! Thanks first to the admins for setting up this great and informative site! Im a day late introducing myself, but like always I tend to dive
right in. So ive had this KZ650B for over 20years,sitting in the many sheds where I have lived, waiting for a total restoration. She comes with alot of sentimental history, being that she belonged to a dear gorgeous young man who left this world too soon. I have kept her and always wanted to restore her beauty perfectly!
Im looking forward to this challenge although daunting as I know very little, except that you need fuel, spark and compression for an engine to function. lol
Im a mother of 2 grown young adults now and have a bit of free time on my hands. I work in the aviation industry - helicopters and I suppose have always had a thing for speed and flight. Looking forward to getting some advice and help with this as it has been a dream.
All the way from New Zealand.... Kia Ora!

Kia Ora ![:) :)](/media/kunena/emoticons/8.png)
You've come to the right place for advice. A little encouragement: I used to ride bikes on the farm and around the west coast roads when I was growing up, but never bothered to get my license. Didn't ride for 20 years. Finally got my license again three years ago and at this time had pretty much no mechanical experience.
Over the last year I have rebuilt a KZ750, learning by doing along the way. It actually turned out alright.
I'm sure you can get that bike back to looking like new
