My riding history dates back to 1972 with the purchase of a brand new 72 Honda SL 125. Rode it every day for two years rain or shine(it was my Only transportation)
Traded it for a 74 CL 350 and was amazed with the HP!lol
My 1st KZ1000 was purchased 1980, a new to me 1977 KZ1000. I've owned and rode them all from Harley to Kawi and for some reason in my Old age I've come back to the 78 KZ1000. Bought it on ebay,had it shipped from Ohio a month ago and after 3 grand in parts and 250 hours of my labor it's ready for the highway. I will do a nut and bolt restoration this winter. At 66 years old the KZ takes a few years off.
