Introduction

Hello everyone. My 1st bike 1965 Kawasaki 150. 2nd bike 650 ( wrong forum to mention it) had for a few months and traded it in on a new KZ1000 in 1976 or 77. Compared every bike since to the KZ1000. Mostly fine bike just not a KZ1000. Now I have 3 KZ1000's will part 1 out the 1979 Police model and get the 2 1977's running and driving. Not sure yet what I will do with the CSR. Do not like them as much as the original KZ. I also have 2 KZ13000's. Too heavy for me. Want to see if I can get the 82 or 3 running on a usrefi unit as the ignition units a not easy to find. Then I have 5 other Kawasaki 1000's different leading letters (ZG)

I keep comparing every bike I have had to the KZ1000's. 2 years out of high school and 1.5 years in the Coast Guard when i bought my first KZ1000.

I bet for most of us there is that perfect bike that we compare the rest to. For me it is a green ZRX1100.
