Thanks street fighter! I was more of a virtual fighter guy but street fighter was awesome too... and punch out was cool. Scratch that if yer names not a reference to the old video game. :) is that an old z1 as ur avatar? Looks pretty special.

The name is not from a video game .
I use it here as a way of expressing how I use to ride my Kaw.
From one race to another. Not the safest way to be , but I was young and dumb

Thanks, it was locked away in a storage unit in connecticut for 22years. Carbs got done first but everything rubber needed to be replaced and some electrical issues. Only 10k miles last november but now almost 14k. ;)

Bike was 1300$, carbs cleaned 500$, stator, rectifier, tires, coils and electric ignition, front brake all came to about another 1000$.

Welcome aboard KZclams! Yeah, $3000 G's above the purchase price. Sounds about right. Mine included paint in that sum. But that was 9 years ago.
