New KZ owner. Checking in
02 Jun 2019 16:01
Hey all! Just picked up an 82 KZ550C for $150. Doesnt run, but I have been looking for a project for a while. As a moto mechanic, I am ready to tear into this one for a custom build. Im looking forward to meeting yall and bouncing some ideas around.
I am dual sporter, adv ridin' dirtbiker at heart but always looking for the next project. Hoping to turn this sad neglected 550 into a light duty off roader' with an emphasis on form over function.

Nice project! Before opening the valve cover, you should read the warning in my signature. Also if you follow the links in my signature there is a website with information directly related to your TK22 carburetors.
