Hello from Detroit

Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself. I recently was offered a 1982 Canadian KZ1000J for a price that was hard to turn down. I wasn't looking for another bike, but the price was too good. So, having never owned a Kawasaki, or planning on having another bike, I have just now started researching the bike. I usually do all this before! Either way, this will be my first Kawasaki (I've had Yamaha, Suzuki, a lot of Honda's, and currently have a Ducati and 2 Vespas), so I'm looking forward to learning. Bike sat for a few years, but was inside. Carbs were amazingly clean, but I still went through them. Drained all the gas, put a new battery and she fired up (after it blew out about a thousand sunflower seeds out of the exhaust haha). One cylinder wasn't firing, but it randomly has a BR9ES plug in it, and all the other have B8ES, so I'm figuring that may be why. It was also only 30 degrees out when I tried. That's about it, but I look forward to learning more!

Thanks for fixing my photo! I'm actually in Ferndale, just a few minutes north of Detroit.

Yes it is. I believe it says 'Hindle Stealth' on it. I'm having a hard time finding any info on it.
