Hello All -

Just registered on the site. Still own an '80 KZ1000 LTD. Spent many a weekend at the dragstrips back in the 1990's (primarily Atco, Englishtown, and Island - all in New Jersey). Also raced the Prostar series which covered a lot of the East Coast. In the end, I was running a 1395cc turbo Kaw which had a best pass of 7.75 sec @ 170 mph. I built my own motors and hope to pass my knowledge and experiences on to others on the forum. Happy to be on board. - Mike
Presently - 1980 KZ1000B4 LTD w/mild ported head, Megacycle cams, 1015cc Wiseco, Falicon Supercrank, R&D undercut trans
In a former life - KZ-based dragbike - CrMo car tire chassis, 1395cc, Hahn Racecraft turbo system, VP C16, Orient Express 3-spd auto, 7.80's @ 165-170.

Thanks, all, for your welcomes. Great to see that there's still a lot of interest in the old KZ's. Hope to get some pictures posted of my current 1000 LTD and also pics of my dragbikes from back in the day. A Happy New Year to all!
