New to KZ
15 Oct 2018 20:23 - 15 Oct 2018 20:24
Hey all, I have finally joined. Name is David and I live in a little town called Enumclaw in PNW (USA). Great forum and I've learned a lot in a short time I've been lurking.
Last summer I bought non running 82 kz440 ltd. Think I had a good deal on it. Got it running and started turning it into little bobber. Not a big project, nothing fancy, reusing and modifying as much as I can and spending $$ only where I really have to.
So, few pics what she looked like when I got her and then couple of pics what she looks like now. Hoping to get a lot more info on this forum as I need it.

Welcome, David!
Nice job on the budget bobber. Is that paint or decal on the tank and side cover? It looks good.

Did you use a stencil? I'm not usually a fan of bobbers but dang, yours turned out nice.

Does it handle just as well since chopping the frame? I've always heard chopping the back off and not looping/reconnecting can cause handling issues.

...To be honest, I didn't ride it before. I bought it and started working on it right away. Anyways, it handles great and is so light compare to my big bike...I love riding it the way it is now and having no issues
