Ive recently come across an 82 kz1000 LTD and need to get it back up and runnning again. other than flushing the fuel and getting a new battery and an oil change, any other recommended maintenance i should do? as far as i know the bike has been sitting for about 2 years. Thanks!

Check the valve clearance, clean the carbs, grease all frame/wheel related bearings.
Clean all wiring connector plugs with de-oxid spray.
Renew the break fluid and maybe the beak lines.
Check MC and the calipers pistons are clean and moving free.
New tires? Sprockets/chain okay?
More to list but better get an service manual before something goes the wrong way.
