Hi All, thanks for allowing me to join. I have recently acquired a 82 GPz1100 which is in pretty poor shape and will need plenty of work to get back to a reasonable condition. This is my first 4 stroke restoration so expect some really stupid questions. As mentioned I live in Cape Town South Africa but have spent the last 3 years working in the USA. I have collected and restored many early 80’s Yamaha 2 strokes, and have been lucky enough to collect the entire RZ range of bikes, from the 50cc to the iconic RZ500. My intention is to now collect and restore all the early 80’s 1100cc bikes. Anyway that’s enough about me, thanks again for letting me join.
