Not sure what occurred - I made a couple of posts when I joined, but they seem to have disappeared ? Try again.
I'm building my swansong [ 73 years old ] KZ750 Twin '60's style [ my era ] Cafe Racer.
Has all the right bits [ in a big pile ] - Grimeca 4ls front wheel with Borrani rim, XS650 ditto rear, Tomaselli Clip ons, Tarrozi rear sets, Manx 5 gal. tank cover, AJS7R seat, Norvil half fairing. Due to a whole series of health scares [ now resolved ] it's been many years in the making, but now I'm on the home stretch. Just waiting for the project to go round to a pal's garage where we will have all the usual facilities - I don't have heat or much space in my shed !
There's a modern twist however - originally it was to have a Weber 40DCOE carb set up [ manifolds made ], but in a late night "whatif" session it's now getting an Eaton M45 blower and if I can get the parts cheap enough - Nitrous assist.

Very cool. I have a blower fetish (gotta love the whine), but a Weber would also have been very cool.
Looking forward t this build.

Thanx for the welcome fellas.
Texas - the plan is to build TWO engines. One will be with the Weber setup - mainly just to prove a point ! Back in the 60's I ran a Constellation [ ex. Bob Mac proddy racer ] and it was a real revelation - much simpler and quicker than with the twin Amal TT set up. Unfortunately it means I have to make up a second exhaust system. exiting on the right side. Unfortunately I have zero welding skills, so I have to wait for pals to help out !
