Guess I didn't post correctly the first time.
Anyhow, I am a new member, have lurked several times before. I am getting tomorrow (2/24/17) a 1980 KZ440. The only issue? A starter issue. I have had Kaw's in the past, a 1976 KZ1000 as a first bike, a 1979 NZ100, then I went with an 1986 Goldwing Aspencade, and have since wanted another bike, but not just any bike, an older KAW. I went online searching classified all over the state and surrounding states, just to find this 1980 KZ440 right down the road, maybe half a mile. I'll post pics in the project section, along with what I need to do, outside of rebuilding the starter, and see if there is anything else wrong with it. It has 7300 miles on it, and it is probably the cleanest old bike I have seen. Will update later with a picture.
