Greetings from Manchester, UK
10 Jul 2016 02:11
Hi all
I am a newbie to the KZ twins and I have picked up one with the intention of customising her to me although I was fortunate to find one that already had most of the major work done so that makes my life easier!
She is a 1982 KZ750 Ltd K1 Belt Drive. I've never had a belt drive before and I'm hoping that it never fails as these things look expensive to replace!
I want to learn everything there is to know about this bike, inside and out. I feel very passionate about her being my 'go to' bike (I also have a ZX6R) but I want this one to be special, special because I have rebuilt her and made her mine...
I hope to speak and meet up with others who share the KZ love and who can offer me tips and tricks on these bikes as I'm already realising that they are all different to each other!
I will be asking questions so I hope you don't mind!
Many thanks in advance!

Welcome from T.O. Canada. KZR keeps us KZ fanatics close and in touch, rather than far and away, and it does not matter where you live in this world, this site is a must have if you own a KZ/Z1.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.
