Bossie was 2 months old and we went down in a 35 MPH turn. Bent handle bars, broken lever, turn signals, etc. Forks were tweaked, road rash on the front fender, speedo cover, broken mount, everywhere. I replaced the broken pieces but rode for years like that. I guess once it had damage it didn't matter anymore it not being perfect. I just rode it harder. :woohoo:

If I had 1 euro for everytime I forgot about the disklock on my bike,Id have some euros!!!.There should be a mathamatical equation (length of travel plus angle of fall times amount of spectators equals size of embarrassment)
and Ive been riding bikes for 35 odd years .

Thanks guys.
I found a somewhat local salvage yard that say he had the parts and wants $60 for both. The only issue is that they close early. I may have to take a half day at work just so I can make it there before close. Also I've been talking with the wife we decided we are keeping the old girl. So I will be taking it to the local shop so they can give it a once over and make sure everything is in syncharge. I like doing my own repairs and all my vehicles but bikes are all new to me so for now I will take it in and hopefully start learning to work on it my self.
Again thanks everyone for the advise
