I know it's crazy, I've never had anything close to this awesome before.
Although I had to sell my collector car to get it.

Well one thing for sure.. it takes up less space.

Beautiful bike and welcome to KZR from T.O.

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

When I first found it I knew I had to make it work somehow to try and get it.
It wasn't easy, I made many offers and had to be very patient.
Paul the owner had something special and he knew it. But after my last offer and the fact he was starting another cool project he let me have this one.
I really thank him for that too.
I was going to build one ..and almost did. Problem is all the time to do another big project. Sourcing stuff and the actual build.
And I know how that keeps adding up.

Plus the wife would kill me, since I just spent over 2 years on a car project.

Anyway,
I might have some small plans for the bike. First off ride it and see what I like and don't.
Then maybe some large aluminum triple clamps
A few small CNC'd aluminum additions. Maybe a forkbrace.
And this winter maybe some lumpy cams and some head work.

I'm looking for that 4rth gear roll on powerlift my old Spencer super bike had.
It was SO powerful.

Who knows I might not do a thing....just wax it and enjoy it.
