Hey all from minnesota. Names joe and the recent warm up (40F) lol has got me looking for parts to get my 1980 kz750 ltd up and going right for this summer! Hoping to hear from other members from around my area.

Will try and get out to the garage tonight and get a pic. Just got some new chain and sprockets from z1 bummed out they don't have Superbike bars in stock.....hate the Ltd bars lol.

40 degrees sounds positively balmy, compared to the 23 degrees and strong winds here in Utah with another 6 inches of snow today. Welcome and good luck with your project and parts search, joining here is probably the best move you can make at this stage, there doesn't seem any thing that someone can't give you advice and pointers on, such is the level of experience and expertise - great people too.

Just got a pic of the bike in the garage. Looking at it the exhaust will have to come off for the back tire to come off for chain and sprockets. Perfect time to get a new one.

Haha yea I noticed it was upside-down after I posted it. Got the windshield new in the box when I picked up the bike last summer :) will post better pictures when I can get it out of the garage when the snows gone.....
