Have been hanging around for a long time now but don't remember if I ever stopped in here. Hopefully late is better than never. I've been around bikes for a very long time and enjoy doing my own work with a lot still to learn. Early bikes were BSA and Triumphs and it took awhile but I really have come to appreciate the fine quality Kawasaki put into my 1980 750 which I've owned since it came out of the crate.
On a personal note I was a general engineering contractor for 35 years (not an engineer - a contractor), spent around 15 years in specialty equipment design/manufacture during that time and "retired" into my present job running a bowling alley for the past 17 years.
I have 2 questions (many more to come): my name is never included in the list of members listed as being online and archives does not recognize my sign on name and password. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?
Many thanks for this fine site!

It's a relatively new glitch that it's effected all of us.

Thank you! I have relatives from what used to be Port Arthur but I'm a west coaster myself.
