Re-Re Itroduction
03 Apr 2015 11:22
Hi all,
Its been a very long time since I was active here.
About 6 or 7 years ago I bought a ZRX1200R and started hanging out over at zrxa.org.
Well I sold it earlier this year and am back to my roots!!
I still have my 1980 KZ750e1 that I bought brand new and while I had still been riding it was very infrequent
, that is about to change!
Anyway I plan on hanging out here a lot more often and participating again where I can be helpful.
Also still have the 1980 250ltd and it gets ridden from time to time as well.
So hi to any that may remember me and the same to some hopefully new friends as well!!!

So the old Rocker gets out his bike to make a ton before he takes his leave. Up on the A1 by Scotch Corner
just like it used to be. And as he flies --- tears in his eyes ---
his wind-whipped words echo the final take and he hits the trunk road doing around 120 with no room left to brake.

Welcome back fixitmann! I've only been here a little less than 4 yrs so it was after your time. Happy to hear you kept the KZ's. What made you decide to get rid of the ZRX1200R?
Nice bike by the way.

Welcome back, nice bike.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Life pulls you in different directions and I just didn't ride it much anymore. Kind of a neat story though it has returned full circle, I was the third owner and the new owner is the brother of the original purchaser. Here is a picture of it! Beautiful bike and I really liked it but I just couldn't justify to myself owning it and barely riding it either. Since I have been limiting my riding time and I will never sell the KZ it just made sense at the time. Will probably kick myself later...
