VIN/bike ID need help!

I'm going ti see this tomorrow morning, Can anyone help me ID this?

The guy listed the ad as an 83 GPz550 project. In the pictures he sent me the bike has 84' gauges and 84' fairings, fair enough.

The engine looks to be from a 750 as it has silver and red GPz side covers on it, maybe he put one in? or swapped the covers because the old ones might have been cracked? ok fine...

Now heres what bothers me the Vin # its self I can only find as a KZ550 H. I could only find one website that could find anything. the number is JKAKZFH19CA004233

Should I even care if its a KZ and not a GPz if its dressed in GPz parts?

I'm not too sure on Gpz550's but the cylinder head and carbs looks to be different from my '83 Gpz750's.

The KZ550H1 = 1983 GPz550. The frame VIN is correct for a 1983 KZ550H1. Can't speak for the motor VIN...
