hi all found this site very helpfull ,so i have become a member ,plenty of usefull information freindley folks ,got myself a kawasaki csr1000 imported from states ,its in great condition love the spoke wheels ,only 3,400 miles from new ,i have always wanted an old zed thoue, she is 34 years old in mint conditon :) i do find the speedo very odd only goes to 80 mph so will try not to bend the needle when it hits the stop ,also removed the smog stuff as i dont need it here ,she is runing great now engine sounds sweet ,had to replace air boots they where solid but intake boots are fine,
also oiled advancer found a great place for parts in uk z power very good people to deal with .

Your CSR is looking a lot shinier than my KZP. I run mine in all weathers and the gritters have taken their toll a bit on my brightwork this year. I also removed the Air Vacuum Switch and blanked off the ports. Mine was seized & it was £115 for a new one (which was only fitted due to Californian omissions laws). No need for it in good old blighty!
You're right about Z-Power. I get some of my bits from there. The rest I tend to get from DKMotorcycles.com in Stoke-on-Trent. If you ever get stuck for anything, give me a shout. I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Cool bike - welcome to KZR!

Sorry, but the sun never shines there. This photo must be a forgery! :P

Keep it nice - it looks lovely!
