Hello from Los Angeles

Hello everyone...I picked up a 76 KZ900 basket case last August. I know it's a big project but that's what I like to do. Never owned a Kawasaki so this will be new to me. I had the frame, wheels and other parts powder coated so far and have been busy getting parts I am going to need on the build.

I will be hopefully asking plenty of questions and hopefully posting pics as I go. It's not going to be some high horsepower Z but just a nice running four.

BTW...I am looking for a Bassani pipe...I have one on my Katana and CB1100F. I know they are tough to find but if anyone has a Bassani they want to sell please let me know.

What you pay to powder coat the frame.

Hello Sp....I paid $200 but it was done by a close friend of my brothers in Phoenix, AZ. I bougt the "bike" in Phoenix so it worked out great.

Have you ever been to the Venice Vintage Motorcycle Club Rally? I went two years ago and it was pretty cool. Missed this year, but I'm sure I'll be there for next year's.

Phil, I almost made it this year but things came up....Yea you're not far from me. I do go to Rock Store more often than not....maybe meet you up there one day. me and some CBX friends go there and eat breakfast once in a while.
