new member from northern california

hello fellow kz fans ! I am 54,live in northern california,I just bought a 1980 kz1000 shaft,

am very excited about it,it will be nice to get back to my MC roots,I have been riding since I was in middle school,

so here is what I have had,in order of when I had them.
Honda trail 70 (middle school) I started modding back then ! I changed the handle bars & removed the baffle ! LOL
1972 Kawasaki 650 twin (first street bike) this was about 1976
1970 Triumph 650 Tiger
1981 Kawasaki KZ550 (bought new)
1983 Kawasaki GPZ750 (bought new)
1980 Kawasaki KZ1000 MKII (loved that one the best,should have kept it)
1978 HD Sporster 1000cc rigid (bar hopper)
1979 HD FLH stroker 1340
and now I am proud to say I just bought a 1980 KZ1000E shaft and can't wait to start modding it ! (pics soon)
and I am sure I will have plenty of advice questions as I have been out of the "bike world" for about 13 years now)

Dan, welcome to the forum. I am also in Nor Cal. Do post up some pictures when you can. That's an impressive list of past bikes, keep it up! Paul

Dan welcome! would love to have you take part in our North American Relay

+1 on the pics. Just wanted to mention the Relay since it will be close to you soon. It is currently in Seattle trying to make its way south.
