Hello from Texas!

Hey all, I just recently picked up my first motorcycle from a friend. I got a 1980 KZ650e. Ill be learning everything for this build. For now I just want to get it back in running order and ridable. Its been sitting for a year or so and was laid over by another owner.

Im in houston. Im new to these bikes, so all I know is that its a kz650e from what I could gather, it was a ltd model.

Yes, only year for the 1980 650E1 LTD.
There was apparently an '80 D model LTD as well, which had a 16" rear wheel, the E model LTD having an 18" rear wheel.
