Hi,new member from Montreal Canada have a 83 kz750 l3 that I'm currently bringing back from ugly duckling state
So far rebuilt entire front end
Changed headlight bucket to round from square the previous owner wiped out on railroad tracks and had drag bars and smashed up the front end including the controls and a nasty dent in the tank
New fork seals
Headstock bearings
Rebuild the left side controls and resprayed the plastic with truck bed liner
Gotta do brakes all around
Redo rims going hugger orange and black
Redoing tack pulled apart and cleaned up and changed bulbs, and sprayed plastics with bed coating and then sprayed matte black before it was dry it looks nice
Paint entire bike black and orange with silver pinstripes
New bars mirrors and indicators
Recover seat
Got her for 350.00 with 52000 km and she runs strong
I will post some pics after I put her back together
If there are any members by me send a shout out.
And always open for any advice

Welcome to the site. Those L3s were nice bikes. Looking forward to the photos. There have been a few members from the Montreal area but I haven't noticed them active here for a while.
Google "mbsween" . He is a member here and has a link to a shop manual on his website.
