Well i just picked up a 1980 KZ1000 for $350 so i figured id join in here and get some good advice. Looking forward to learning what i can about these bike because all i know is how to ride them now.

I don't know what Im gonna do yet. I wanted to build a bobber but I've heard that shaft drive isn't good for that. Im thinkin maybe cafe racer or street fighter.

you have such a nice bike to start with a good cleanup different bars a sculpted seat and new cover,four into one header and i believe i would be done.

it's so complete a faux mk11 would be cool.

That is a nice bike. I know for sure Im putting drag bars on mine. I've never really liked the stock bars.
