Hello forum. Just bought an '82 KZ650 - I haven't even picked it up yet. I've been working mostly on CB's the last few years. Have bought a few basket cases and restored them to stock, and am just finishing off a CB750 cafe mod to a previously seized bike that sat for a very long time.
So while looking for my next project I came across this KZ. I had seen a few really nice KZ's down at the vintage bike auction in Vegas earlier this month, and got the hankering to work on one.
Seeing as how I don't have the bike yet, this pic is the best I can do.

I live near Portland, Oregon and my rider is a '76 KZ900 I bought new. I'm also in the process of restoring another one and a '73 Z1.

Another 650 brought back to life! Good on ya.
I am in the middle of rebuilding my '78 C2, and while its been a bit of a task, it has also been worth (almost) every moment of the effort!
Good luck, and also check out the kz650info forum as well. I do most of my lurking here, but there is a wealth of knowledge on both sites, and a lot of 650 owners are involved in both.
Cheers!
Jon

Thanks. I actually registered on that site first, but haven't been accepted yet. I'm looking forward to digging into this 650.
