Welcome to the Funhouse MtnMan! Good to read you have found the site helpful right out of the box. Great stable of bikes you have there. B) The DRZ must be a blast on those twisty roads of yours. AND, that MT-01 is one V-Twin I always wanted to ride. It never made it to the U.S.A. But that GPZ has always been a favorite of mine. My brother had one back the 80's.

Vancouver Island looks like a great place to ride. On my bucket list. Hey, since you now have a vintage Kawasaki up and running you should check out this >>> www.kzrider.com/forum/13-bike-related/47...agekawasakirelay-com There is this thing called the KZ Rider North American Flag Relay going on currently in your neck of the woods. You are welcome to share in the experience. Plus, it would be very cool to have the Flag transported on the back of a great GPZ. There is also another thread of chronicling photos of Relay Riders experiences. >>> www.kzrider.com/forum/17-ride-reports/50...lay-ride-photo-album
Welcome and hope to see you and your collection in person one day.

The xs 400...is the first bike owned at 16 in 1982.
I seen the 1982 gpz 750 in the kawa showroom and almost wetted my self...what a sexy bike!!!but I had to live with the 400...had no $ and I was 16!!!
Someday I knew I would have the time and $ to get one and restore it!!!!and I did....
The drz 400e came as a dirt only model and I made my own Baja kit and got the bike inspected for the road and it passed!!so I have a bike for the woods and the desert...I spent the winters in AZ and the Baja when I can...and needed a super reliable bike hence the drz!!
Now the MT-01...all I can say is HOLY S*&T,what a bike a 1700cc monster!!!!
It produces more torque than a vmax or a zx14...all below 5500rpm...and it has a R1 suspension, wheels and brakes
and my last big bore street bike was a 1992 zx11...so I know power.

Also anytime you want to come to Van island...I`ll show you around!!!we have some great roads and views here.

cheers Mtnman
