New kz owner

Hello everyone. My names Matt I'm from a small town in New Jersey. I recently wanted a project something to do during the winter and I picked up a 83 kz440 off craigslist for $125 bucks. Clean title 5 thousand miles on the speedo didn't run no rust in the tank. I brought her home for a bobber project. Well before I did anything that costed money. I wanted to make sure everything worked. Motor was locked up from it sitting and the trans was locked up too couldn't get anything besides first and neutral. Got the motor unlocked and the trans to shift. Cleaned the carbs gave her a real good bath and found the starter was bad. We got it running by bump starting it. Will post many pics of my build soon.
