New Member To KZR
14 Oct 2013 17:24
Hello,
I joined KZR a short time ago and knew it would be a great place. There are a lot of really cool bikes and projects here as well as a lot of folks who share a love for the Old Steel.
I've had my 903 since the Showroom in 1976. She has changed little since 81 when I put her in, what turned out to be, a long term storage.
Now I'm working on bringing my KZ back. A task well worth it I think.
I hope to be able to add to the body of information here as well as drawing from it as time goes by.
Peace, Health and No Speed Limit To Stein and Good Company.

Thank You.
Yes, the rear is a 16" that was added in her first evolution. The Tire is a Carlisle MT90-16T. I need to replace it due to age. The size match is getting a bit harder these days. The only one I have found so far, is a Shinko "Classic 240" that matches the size one for one. Metzeler did at one time. I need to check back again.
Thanks Again, Intrepid

Thanks for the info and link. I'm looking into it and so far, so good.. I've been hoping to go with Metzeler. Funds willing. I have heard good things about them for some time now. The ME880 Series looks real good. And, since the front needs to be replaced as well, this would be a great time to have a matched front/rear set. The front's a Dunlop. Nice tire, but still an old one.
By the way, Great Dragbike pics. Reminds me of nights hanging out on the local Main Drag a long, long time ago. We were running light weight stuff compared to most of that hardware. Always good to see how well the craft is growing.
Thanks again, Intrepid
