First bike!

Hey guys!

I bought my KZ last winter without knowing a thing about motorcycles. I was always told since I was young that "Hondas are the best." I've since worked on some and realized just how good the Kawi really is!

Just rolled over 16,000 miles (bought it with 12K) on the bike and tried painting it with automotive paint.... Paint didn't stick to the primer very well and rattle can clear is a terrible idea but I'm learning.

Been wondering about the pros and cons in comparing the KZ 1000 with the 750.... Let me know your thoughts on the two!

I'm looking to contact a guy on here who goes by "Sandy" and he's from BC. We met while he was on a trip to Spokane and I was his cabby. Anyone with info, let me know!

The 1000 and 750 don't compare to the 650s.
Well maybe the 750s do.
1000s are heavy, and their frames are not as strong.

The 650s learned from the 1000, fixed problems, and the 750s evolved from the 650.

A 650 held the 24 speed record until beaten by a GSXR750 in '85 IIRC.
