Hey all, newbie here from the cornfields of central Illinois! Ive got an 81 KZ1000 slightly modified! I Konged the stock frame, custom 22" apes, powdercoated rims, axed and tunneled yammie tank, 3' sissy bar, and custom drag pipes. Although its not the prettiest bike (which is fine since i dig the rat bike look), it makes up for it in power!!! It will be featured in The Horse: Backstreet Choppers magazine within the next few months. Heres a few snap shots!

Not bad. Did you make longer cables or buy them? I went with shorter apes because I didn't have the means to make extended cables. I wouldn't mind going higher at some point.
