New rider from St. Louis MO

Hey guys! I keep finding myself finding the answers I need on this forum through google, so I figured I may as well join up. My name is Tommy, I live in the St. Louis area. Been into cars for a long time, currently building a 2002 Acura TL Type-S and have a mildly modded 2002 Toyota Tundra TRD.

I picked up my first bike last friday, its a 1980 KZ550 LTD. About all I know about it, is its currently lowered 1.5 up front, clip ons, custom seat and rear fender, and its painted kind of a root beer color. It runs awesome, just needs a chain (out of adjustment and very loose), some rear brake work, fork seals (I guess, theres about zero pressure up front) and it idles a bit low. I currently have $600 in it, so I feel like I'm already ahead a bit. Any suggestions or tips/tricks/knowledge is greatly appreciated! On to the pics!
