New KZ owner was created by pb3
Just picked up a 1980 kz1000 Ltd with 7900 miles. The PO took great care of her. Of course it needs a few things. I've taken the carbs off, cleaned them and set the float heights. Changed the master cylinder to one from a zx11. Also found a good sized crack ion one of the coils. But it seems to run good. Just a little cough while its cold. Right now am painting it. Future plans are either a zzr or gsxr rear end and newer front suspension.

Congrats and welcome. Nice looking bike. What color are you going to paint it?

Keeping it pretty simple. Going with the factory black, silver and red. Wont be an exact match but close.
