Just picked up a 1980 kz1000 Ltd with 7900 miles. The PO took great care of her. Of course it needs a few things. I've taken the carbs off, cleaned them and set the float heights. Changed the master cylinder to one from a zx11. Also found a good sized crack ion one of the coils. But it seems to run good. Just a little cough while its cold. Right now am painting it. Future plans are either a zzr or gsxr rear end and newer front suspension.
