Just maken sure I'm not blocked. First bike was a 76 kz650 that I allways wonded how I kept it running. Now I have my pride and joy 79 kz 650 B3. I got and sold this bike five years ago. Then to my good fourtine was able to buy it back from the guy who got it from me all by chance off craigs list. And he was a great baby sitter. Loven it. The main reason I joined is to get help with repairs I may need later.nb

There are more then a few guys on here that can help you with anything you have a problem with. I know how you feel about getting your bike back. I went through the same thing myself. Sold my Z to buy another bike but ended up wishing I hadn't. A few months later I seen a Z for sale in the paper and called on it. From decription, it sounded familiar so I went to look at it. Lo and behold...it was my old bike. Guy I sold it too used it to tour on and decided a Goldwing would be better so he put it up for sale. Bought it back for less then I sold it...he didn't change a thing on it so I guess I made money on the deal....as well as got favorite bike back. That was probably mid-80's and still have it today!
1980 LTD (changed over the years), 1979 LTD (being rebuilt), 1977 KZ turbo and various KZ's in various states of build. KLX110

Welcome to kzr. I know ive sold some of my old bikes. One in particular. i completely redone a kz 650, New paint, new tires and battery and the whole nine yards. Sold it when i came across my first kz 1000. Well needless to say. I saw it on craigslist a few months later, and it was in pieces. Someone tore it to hell. I only reconized it by the tank and gas cap. But I know how it makes you feel. So iam glad to hear you were able to get it back.

Nice ride, welcome to the site! there is more than enough information to meander through on this site to educate even top tier mechanics. some really impressive bike builds too.
