Hello everyone! I just recently obtained a 1984 KZ700A from an awesome brother :) It is in need of some tlc. I will be frequenting this forum as I would like to make this bike one sweet ride. I was searching for a service manual but it is almost impossible to find any resources on these bikes, which led me to this forum. I was able to find a KZ750 Four factory service manual, but I am not sure if everything on these bikes is the same except for the displacement. I know the unique engine size is due to the crooked American tariff on Japanese bikes over 700cc. If anyone has any insight that would be great, but I will definitely be searching my butt off trying to find whatever I can here. Thanks a bunch everyone!

Hello Calvin...welcome to KZR. If you can find a later edition (after 1984) of the official genuine Kawasaki 750-4 shop manual, it will cover the 700 tariff models also.

Search ebbaayy for KZ750 manual. You could add "1984" or a later year to the search, but some sellers don't include the years covered. Kawasaki factory service manuals have a model application chart on the back cover, so make sure your bike is included on the list. Some ebbaayy sellers include a photo of the chart, such as the following item.
