Hi There,

I am from the UK and have seen this site over the years, whilst searching for solutions to problems with my Z750 GT, but when i bit the bullet and purchased my first project bike last week i decided that i might need some extra help!

I love the Z750 bikes especially the GT shaft have been riding one (well there have been two of them)for 13 years,it was my first bike after my learning bike(Yamaha SR125).

The bike piccies attached is KZ750 N2 Spectre US import and my GT750.

Welcome aboard! I'm wondering if the UK 750GT is the same as the US L3 with the GPz engine?

I thought they all basically had the same engine as all these bikes are covered in my Haynes Manual.

KZ/Z750L UK 1981 to 1987, US 1983
KZ/Z750R (Gpz) UK and US 1982
ZX750 A (Gpz) UK 1983 to 1988, US 1983 to 1985
Z750P (GT750) UK 1982 onwards
KZ750N (Spectre) US 1982 to 1983
KZ750F (ltd Shaft) US 1983

The styling is very similar.
