I just picked up a '82 KZ1000 yesterday.
I decided I needed to find a support group, and KzRider fits the bill!

Welcome aboard! It looks like you have a really nice survivor there. I hope you plan to keep it stock as they are becoming rather scarce in that condition. Ed

I'm keen to keep it stock, however, I don't much care for the windjammer...

Same here. If it was mine I would remove the Windjammer and put the front end stuff (signals / headlight) back to stock if they were changed. Ed

I pretty much grew up in Cumming! Lived there up until a few years ago.
