New Member / Potential New Owner, Just Need Help

Hey everyone, hopefully this will be the first of many posts I get to make on here. I'm looking at purchasing a KZP1000 tomorrow afternoon/evening, but I'm a bit nervous because I've yet to see it in person and need to make a two hour one way trip to get it.

...and I know nothing about these bikes. I'd love some professional opinions.

The bike is a 1995 model with 67,000 miles. According to the seller, the only thing really wrong with it mechanically is it "needs a new gasket on the tank where you turn the fuel on" because it leaks.

Apparently it has new tires and a new battery according to the seller as well, but I cannot confirm this.

I can get it for $1,000.

What do you guys think?

you can't go wrong for $1000.00 if it didn't run.

if it starts and runs and don't make any scary noises you made a heckuva deal.

are you in oklahoma?
