hey all im new here and in need of some help i have a 1978 kz650 b2-c2 chopper im putting together but the wiring is a bitch so i hope i can find what i need here

That's not a '77 motor. Ed

What's the engine serial number? You should see it stamped on the right side near the oil filler cap. Ed

That should make it a 1978 engine from a B2 or C2 model. That's important to know because the 1977 has a totally different charging system. Here's the wiring diagram:
