Here's a Spectre 1100, back on the road!

Local gentleman done with riding offered up his bike on Craigslist, cheap. I thought to snap it up and part it out, but when I arrived to pick it up, IT RAN! Not well, but it started and ran and looked great.
So I cleaned the carbs (at least three times ), fixed up the booger-rigged coil wires and plug caps, got the sludge out of the brake calipers so they quit locking up, and now it's rideable again.
It has a few carb issues remaining but nothing super-serious, and needs new fork seals and a valve adjust. Otherwise it's safe, streetable, and seeing a lot more miles than it had in recent years!
I've been hearing cool stories about these old KZ's since I started riding 13 years ago. Now I know why!
