just got my 78 kz650 shipped down from the barn in wisconsin it has been stored in for the last 15 years. 14 k on the clock and started first kick after primming the carbs and a fresh battery. I am back in the saddle.

Don't forget to check those old tires and brake hoses. Tires that old can act pretty bad if given a chance and stopping is as important as going. Good Luck with her. Great bikes!

will take some pics sat. after a spit and polish. hope the headers clean up or it a sand and paint. check my bspares pile got front dual disc labelec h1 with a akorant"sp" alloy rim laced up. think i recall the kz and h1 shared fronts. now if i can find the grunts i had saved,years ago from the boneyard will have some nice stoppers. be a work in progress . guese will move from the welcome page to project page from here. more pics unde 15 years in the barn
