thanks for all the advice and help guys
thanks for that picture as well, where those bungie cords are is where I want my tail to be ending.
I have nothing against tear drop tanks I just prefer more of a square tank for the style im going for.
at first I will have to use a tear drop but thats just fine with me

Some 750H models have a 1-piece seat & it is the same as the 81-83 650-CSR (the CSR has the same frame).
Not sure, but I'd guess you could use either type (1-piece or 2).

i found a seat im going to buy tomorrow that needs reupholstering and its the one I was looking for!
It would be a shame to take that long one piece seat and cut it in half
the posting for this seat says "1980 Kawasaki KZ1300-A Touring K327" so im hoping its the same size.
not too bad, i have filler foam if the cuts look deeper then expected.

It is unlikely that the KZ1300 seat mounts to the frame the same was as the stock seat would.

why is that?
if they don't ill make them
unless anyone has a suggestion on where to maybe get a 1980 kz750 front seat that dosnt have that back seat on it for less than 100
its either the 1300 and possible change up the pan a little or a double seat that is ripped to shreds and cut it in half

When I look at the parts break down for the two seat assemblies they don't appear to share common parts or mount in the same manner.

Where are you finding the lay out? Maybe I could use the 750 diagram to fabricate something. Thanks for giving advice by the way.
If Anyone knows of another solo saddle that would fit I would be very great full.

alright found a seat that is a little too pricey but taking the cation of boatdrinks(and me being to lazy to fabricate a pan, i just want to ride this thing)
so I got the battery and the starter motor was trying to crank up, i dont have a tank and tried to hook up the gas tank valve up to the gas lines and just fill the valve up and work it down into the tube just to hear it poof a little.
no luck, guessing I just need the tank to have more pressure to push it down.
ordering all parts in the a.m.
